IKEA is a chain of furniture and lifestyle stores, which has its base in Sweden. Ikea is one of the biggest companies in the world. There are 303 IKEA stores spread over 26 countries. IKEA is opening their 20th store here in Sweden on the 26th of February 2016. In 1959, IKEA had 100 employees and in 2012, the company had 139.000 employees.

 

The company was founded in 1943 and quickly grew to become the biggest furniture and lifestyle companies. IKEA now has a turnover of 32 billion euros and is still growing.
